The Procession
Kevin smiled then fell apart. Seemed perfect, at least at the start. Then first sign of trouble, His tears burst the bubble. Revealing a bitter cold heart.
Gillard arrived with a knife. It fanned the fight of her life. In front snarling Tony. Behind Kevin moaning. Then her speech dealt with the strife.
The next one along Mr Abbott. Who’d studied and abandoned the habit. Instead of the cloth, he chose to serve wrath. But in power he just kept on at it.
Malcolm so polished and planned. White teeth with money in hand. Got the team to unite, with themselves in a fight, And was sent off before he could land.
And then…, let’s call him Scott. With God he believed in a lot. Where to begin, With his long list of sin, his end was the best that we got.
Albanese is now the boss. With majority who gives a toss. But what does he do? He leaves us in stew, No money, housing, or gloss.
Could our next be really Pauline? For years we all said she was mean. No burqas or Asians. Just cheers for Caucasians. Now with Gina what does it mean.
A special mention for Barnaby Joyce. Pickled, rose-coloured by choice. Sharp as a tack, except when out flat. He found love where others an invoice.
